Date Program
Saturday 14 Apr Depart by coach from Wagga and travel to Cootamundra. After lunch at Cootamundra Uniting Church visit site of Cootamundra Girls Home. Depart Cootamundra and travel to West Wyalong for overnight stay in motels.
Sunday 15 Apr Worship with UAICC at Condobolin. Visit Murrim Bridge Aboriginal Community near Lake Cargelligo. Return to West Wyalong for overnight stay in motels
Monday 16 Apr Travel to Euston for overnight stay in cabins. Lunch in Hay on the way.
Evening meal with Robinvale Congregation with some entertainment provided by the Islander members.
Tuesday 17 Apr
Visit Mungo National Park. Return to Euston for overnight stay in cabins.
Wednesday 18 Apr
Travel to Echuca for lunch. Spend time at the Port of Echuca with the option of a Reflection Time or paddleboat cruise on the Murray River.
Thursday 19 Apr
Visit Shepparton for interaction with Yorta Yorta people. Return to Echuca for overnight stay. Evening meal at RSL Club.
Friday 20 Apr Travel to Lockhart for cultural experience with Mark Saddler. Evening Fellowship & BBQ at Yalbalingada Centre (Wagga Wagga) with members of Aboriginal Evangelical Fellowship (AEF) and the Wiradjuri Christian Development Ministries. Overnight stay at Rules Club Motel Wagga.
Saturday 21 Apr
Spend time with Stan Grant Snr and learn about the Charles Stuart Indigenous Language Program. Finish about noon.
