Francis Sullivan, CEO of the Catholic Church’s Truth, Justice and Healing Council, will be working with Uniting Church leaders on Wednesday August 26. This is an opportunity to reflect on our way forward as leaders as we learn from the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Sexual Abuse of Children.
In the afternoon Francis will lead an afternoon seminar on ways leaders, church councils and boards can acknowledge past hurt while moving towards a healthier hope-filled future.
In the evening Francis will present a public lecture, the May Macleod lecture, addressing lessons learnt across the church in relation to restoration of abused communities.
A meal is available in between for the cost of $35.
Register online for the afternoon session and for dinner.
