Kids Camp Out | Book Now

WHAT IS KIDS CAMPOUT?
Kids Camp Out (KCO) is an annual event run by a team of people from the NSW/ACT Synod of the Uniting Church in Australia. The aim of KCO is to provide an opportunity whereby children can experience the wider church family through fun, worship and learning.

WHEN?
From 12.30pm Saturday 2nd – through to 1pm Sunday 3rd March 2019

WHO CAN ATTEND?
The program is intended for Children in years 3- 6* with some leadership training opportunities for high school aged young people.  Families may attend however children year 2 and under must be supervised by parents at all times. Leaders are focused on the primary aged children and supported from others from their congregation in areas of food etc.

WHERE IS IT?
The venue is Wedderburn Christian Centre, 208 Minerva Road, Wedderburn (near Campbelltown).

WHAT WILL HAPPEN? 
During the weekend children are involved in activities such as crafts, games, walking, swimming, Bible study, worship, singing, meeting new people, and generally having a great time!

WHERE WILL WE SLEEP? WHAT WILL WE EAT? 
Children will be accommodated in tents provided by their group or in cabins, mostly with an ensuite toilet and shower. All food will need to be provided by each group. Some menu suggestions will be provided to organisers from each congregation.

*Please note that the program is specifically for the children in the age group specified. If you have teenagers they can attend as assistant leaders by registering as such, however, they will be the sole responsibility of the adult carer. A Saturday evening program will be provided for them in which they can further develop their leadership and have some fun.
