Uniting Mission and Education is seeking a suitable person to fill the new position of Remote and Rural Ministry Director. You will provide advice and encouragement to the Uniting Church in Australia, NSW/ACT Synod, presbyteries and congregations in relation to remote and rural ministry, act as team leader and project driver for the Saltbush Project as approved by the Synod 2016, and provide pastoral and missional support and oversight to those involved in rural ministry. This position will initially focus on the Western Region of NSW, ministered to by the UAICC NSW/ACT (Congress), Riverina, Macquarie Darling and New England North West presbyteries, but will expand to include other presbyteries with a rural focus in due course.

Uniting Mission and Education is seeking a suitable person to fill the position of Dean of Formation at United Theological College, Centre for Ministry, North Parramatta, Sydney. As part of the United Theological College faculty, you will provide leadership and coordination of the Uniting Church in Australia NSW/ACT formation program, including oversight of candidates for ordained ministry and development of the UTC field education program. The role includes coordination of the Synod’s Selection Panel, and shared leadership of United Theological College. A full position description is available upon request.
