UME recently hosted the annual UTC Come & Explore event at The Centre for Ministry and over 250 people attended.

United Theological College (UTC) is known as a very special place of theological education.

So, when the UTC Faculty and Student Association host the annual ‘open day’ for the college at the Centre for Ministry (UME) – the event was always going to an occasion ‘not to be missed’.

Like most universities and colleges around the country, United Theological College hosts an annual ‘open day’; an event for individuals interested in learning more about theological education. There is also an opportunity to invite local community to visit the campus, to showcase the array of study options available and invite future students to consider applying for a scholarship to enable their education journey.

If you have enjoyed a short course with Uniting Mission & Education, perhaps you would be interested in a subject, diploma or degree being offered by United Theological College in 2019? Enquire today via 02 8838 8900.

Professor Gerard Moore, Lecturer in Worship & Practical Theology and Head of School, Charles Sturt University believes that the annual Come & Explore event is one which truly represents the UTC education experience and sees students returning to UTC year after year.

“United Theological College is so much more than just a place of quality theological education.  The faculty are genuine experts in their field and together, create a real sense of community, inclusion, and collaboration in education,” explains Moore.

“At UTC, our community is filled with people from all ages and stages in life; young people exiting school programs and looking at career opportunities; parents exploring their theological interests in an informal way; international students exploring their faith; corporate individuals looking to develop their knowledge base – and everyone is truly welcome here.”

“The Come & Explore evening was filled with friendship, community, and faith sharing – which genuinely reflects how we approach our theological education at UTC.”
