Festival of Homiletics | Online Discussion Group via Zoom

The Festival of Homiletics is a USA based week-long conference that brings together a wide variety of outstanding preachers and professors of homiletics to inspire a discourse about preaching, worship and culture.

This year’s topic is: Preaching a New Earth: Climate and Creation

Owing to COVID-19 precautions the conference will be presented live online for the first time from 19-23 May. If you’re interested in participating live during the timeframe of the conference click here to access the free-of-charge conference registration page. Please bear in mind that all times quoted on the conference website’s schedule are U.S. East Coast time (Australian Eastern Standard Time is 14 hours ahead of this).

As an alternative to participating live through the late hours of the night, or early hours of the morning, Ben Gilmour, UME Head of Vital Leadership, will be offering to host online discussion group(s) via Zoom during June at a friendlier time of day. However, to access the conference material you will first need to purchase the conference’s ‘Virtual Conference On-Demand’ package at a cost of USD150 (approx. $230 Australian dollars).
